About Us

The GrassRoot Development, founded by Robey R. Crowder in 2011, is a privately held, family-oriented general contractor and construction management corporation based in Chicago, Illinois. Our very humble beginnings are what has kept us grounded and committed to our communities. Our team brings over 20 years of experience, predictability, accountability, and control to the construction and rehab process. Our goal is to deliver a powerhouse of full-cycle construction and renovation assistance to both commercial and residential customers.
